Traditional bee skeps, were used back in the day to keep bees in, before the beehive was invented. A few beekeepers still keep bees in skeps today, although these days, they are mostly used for collecting swarms of bees and for decoration in the home or garden. Some people have also had success with providing the skeps as a home for certain species of bumble bee.
Our skeps are handmade in Bangladesh from sea grass, and recycled sari material. They are made to a very high and durable quality. With a carrying loop.
